Dictators Have Always Suppressed and Assassinated Inconvenient People

Fukuda’s speech and actions benefited China alone

The July 4 issue of Yukan Fuji ran an article entitled “Reckless Old Men Harming our National Interests” on page four. It read:

The old men of the political world – who have experience in the three powers of government – seem to be acting recklessly. Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi is calling for “zero nuclear power” as he criticizes the Shinzo Abe administration for re-starting nuclear power plants. Former Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Yohei Kono, and former Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama are conspicuous for their words and actions suggesting that they are mouthpieces of China and North Korea. In these rapidly changing international circumstances, I cannot approve of them acting in ways that disrupt the public opinion and harm Japan’s national interests.

I agree with this statement. An online article about Fukuda by Homare Endo, director of the Tokyo University of Social Welfare’s Center of International Relations, was published on the Newsweek Japan website on July 2. It was entitled, “Former Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression Employee Fang Jun Angered by Fukuda’s Words at the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.” While visiting the Nanjing Memorial Hall on June 24, Fukuda stated, “Japanese people must have a more correct understanding of past truths.” Endo received an email from Fang (summarized below) regarding this topic:

I was previously employed at the Museum of the War of Chinese People’s Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. I have written about how former Curator Zhang Chengjun and other persons have misappropriated anti-Japanese war donations, for which they were dismissed. Afterwards, Li Zongyuan, the new curator, received bribes from a certain Japanese person, and a Japanese car donated to the museum was put in his individual name. This anti-Japanese stance is merely a façade, at both the Museum of the War and the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders.
They use anti-Japanese sentiment to gather donations, and tell their visitors the conventional, anti-Japanese story. Yet this is just a pose – they are actually using the anti-Japanese stance as a money-making pretext. The government is trying to maintain its power with anti-Japanese slogans.
Fukuda was highly praised by the Chinese government for his recent visit to the Nanjing Memorial Hall. Japanese people are simply being used, yet Fukuda told the press corps that Japanese people must take a square look at truth. Does Fukuda know the truth about the Communist Party of China (CPC)? Does he have the courage to tell people to look this truth straight in the face? As you described in your (Endo’s) book, Mao Zedong: The Man who Conspired with the Japanese Army, the CPC colluded with the Japanese Army during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and sold to the Japanese side military information about the Kuomintang army (which was fighting with the Japanese Army) at high prices. Despite this, China has spread false information and brainwashed its people to believe the CPC army fought heroically against the Japanese. Today the Museum of the War curators and others say they are against the Japanese prime minister visiting Yasukuni Shrine, yet they are lining their pockets together with Japanese people. I was dismissed for pointing out this corruption. In fact, just using the word “corruption” is enough to be marked for censorship.
Fukuda may be a private citizen now, but he used to be the prime minister of Japan. He is using his position to conceal the truth. Japan is not just assisting in the coverup about what the CPC did during the Second Sino-Japanese War – it is also helping cast away people like myself who are struggling against the CPC government’s deceit and aiding in this deception. That is how these former prime ministers are speaking and acting, and it expresses the stance of the Japanese government. Are Japanese people aware of this?
If these prime ministers know what is going on while turning their eyes away from the truth, then they are speaking and acting out of self-preservation. They have no genuine sense of justice, and no right to make statements like, “Japan should take a square look at the truth.” In the same way, the Museum of the War curators are not qualified to make statements like saying they oppose the prime minister going to Yasukuni Shrine.
Russia has carried out political purges since the Soviet era

On July 6, the news site tocana published an article by military affairs commentator Itsuro Shiobara. “Urgent Report: Is Russia Taking Revenge by Using the Novichok Chemical Weapon on Civilians? Epic Information Warfare Between the United Kingdom and Russia is Behind These Attacks” read as follows:

Novichok, the chemical weapon used in the March 2018 poisonings of a former Russian spy and his daughter in Salisbury (the UK), was once again used in the UK on June 30. Two people (a British man and woman in their 40s) were poisoned in Amesbury, which is over 10 kilometers from Salisbury.
In a previous article, I revealed the inner workings of the epic information warfare between the UK and Russia, and shared my view that the attempted assassination of the former spy and his daughter are just the tip of the iceberg.

Purges have always been a constant in the former Soviet Union and Russia. The Japanese Wikipedia describes the Great Purge as follows:
This large-scale purge, an infamous example of widespread political suppression, was not limited to core politicians in the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), but also targeted regular party members and citizens. According to statistical documents in the Russian archives, 1.344923 million people were given summary trials and found guilty between 1937 and 1938, the height of the purge. More than half (681,692) were sentenced to death, and 634,820 were transported to concentration camps or prisons. However, this number is limited to people who were tried for the crime of counterrevolution. This purge greatly shocked the CPSU, and almost all of the former leaders were eliminated. In particular, the regional, state, and republic committees were entirely wiped out.
Of the 1,966 delegates to the 17th Congress of the All-Union Communist Party (held in 1934), 1,108 were arrested, and most were shot to death. Of the 139 members of the 1934 Central Committee (including candidates), 110 were executed or forced to commit suicide. After Leon Trotsky was assassinated in Mexico in 1940, the only surviving senior leaders from the Vladimir Lenin era were Joseph Stalin and Mikhail Kalinin. Just 3% of the delegates from the last congress before the Great Purge (1934) attended the following one (1939). Looking at the official party members in 1939, 70% joined after 1929 (in other words, during the Stalin era), with just 3% remaining from before 1917. No congress (the party’s institution for discussion), Central Committee meetings, or even Politburo meetings were held from 1939 to 1953, when Stalin died.

The residents of Xinjiang are suppressed in various ways

A column by Peter Apps, entitled, “China’s Muslim minority faces a modern Orwellian nightmare,” was published to the Reuters website on May 22. It read:

In China’s northwest Xinjiang province, the predominantly Muslim Uighur minority have nowhere to hide. Facial recognition software reportedly alerts authorities if targeted individuals stray more than 1000 feet from their homes and workplaces. Residents face arrest if they fail to download smartphone software that allows them to be tracked, according to social media users. Simply wishing to travel outside China can be cause for arrest, with Beijing detaining family members and using its political clout to force extradition of those abroad.
At least 120,000 Uighurs have been imprisoned in so-called “re-education camps” in the last two years, according to the U.S. government-funded Radio Free Asia. Other reports put that number as high as one million, which a group of U.S. Congress members last month described as the largest current mass incarceration of a minority population anywhere. Any foreign contact is suspect, with those sent to camps reportedly including a leading footballer as well as the Uighur wives of Pakistani merchants trading across the border.
The Chinese government has refused to comment on reports of mass detention. And it denies repression of the Turkic-speaking Uighurs, some of whom have been engaged in a low-level separatist movement for years. Beijing says it faces Islamist insurgency in Xinjiang, and blames Uighur militants for a number of knife and bomb attacks across the country. It has labeled a group of Uighur leaders as terrorists.

The Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region was at one time an independent republic, yet today it is one of China’s autonomous regions.
Uyghur was also used as a nuclear testing site. This is reported in “Nuclear Weapon Contamination and Organ Harvesting in Uyghur, the Location of Nuclear Tests 1,300 Times the Power of the Hiroshima Bomb,” published on October 17, 2016 on the news site The Epoch Times. This shocking article reads:

The Japan Uyghur Association held its China Nuclear Threat Symposium in Tokyo on October 16. Physicians, British journalists, and Kyrgyzstani scientists discussed the impacts of nuclear testing based on their own fields of expertise.
One scientist stated that hydrogen bombs with total power over 1,300 times greater than the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima have been exploded in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region over the past 32 years. For this reason, leukemia, cancer, and other diseases are increasing among the local population, as is the risk of birth defects. An American journalist who is well versed in Chinese issues said forced organ harvesting is taking place among the Uyghur people, who are subjected to severe human rights violations from the CPC’s ethnic cleansing policy.
Spies were hunted down in Pyongyang during the American-North Korean summit

On July 5, the zakzak news site ran an article entitled, “Did South Korea Betray the U.S. by Leaking Intelligence to North Korea? Spy Hunting in Pyongyang During the Summit” This report by Koei Kaga read:

Two columns ago (June 5), I wrote that Kim Jong Un keenly fears a coup d’état will occur while he is away from Pyongyang (June 10 – 13) to attend the summit with President Donald J. Trump on June 12 in Singapore.
The truth is that a shocking incident occurred in North Korea during this time. This astounding information was obtained from multiple U.S. Armed Forces personnel as well as Japanese and American intelligence officials.
Before departing for Singapore, Kim summoned top figures from his secret police force and handed them a confidential list of coup d’état suspects. It contained the names of more than 30 military officials. The secret police followed its orders by taking all of these men into custody and confiscating their mobile phones so they cannot conspire to carry out a coup.
All army troops were issued curfews, and spies were stationed to watch for suspicious actions. People who cooperate with the CIA were regarded as spies and were hunted down in Pyongyang. Policemen were mobilized to conduct a door-to-door campaign to check the IDs of Pyongyang residents, plunging the city into a state of tension. The police also had copies of Kim’s list.
The CIA has successfully formed an anti-Kim faction to rise against North Korea’s dictatorial system and suppression of human rights, mainly containing top army brass and with cooperation from persons such as North Korean defectors.
The GHQ’s occupation policy still affects Japan

Dictators have frequently assassinated or suppressed inconvenient persons throughout history and even today. In addition to the Great Purge mentioned above, it is said the Soviet Union also purged from 10 to 20 million people, including sending them to Siberia. Ten to 40 million people died of starvation in China during the Great Leap Forward, and the number of victims in the Cultural Revolution varies from millions to more than 10 million. In Cambodia, the Pol Pot administration slaughtered one third of its citizens.Like this, the number of citizens killed by a dictator of that country is much larger than the number of people killed in war.
I received a letter from Yuichi Sano entitled, “The Nanjing Massacre was a tactic to leverage the Japanese Army to destroy Chiang Kai-shek’s army!” According to him, it is said that the battle of Nanjing was a stratagem by Mao. He ordered CPC General Tang Shengzhi, who had infiltrated Chiang’s army, to use the Japanese Army to annihilate Chiang.
The basis for this is the theory that Mao was extremely gratified to hear the news that Nanjing had fallen to the Japanese Army, and that he drank a great deal of alcohol to celebrate.
China still claims that Japan massacred 300,000 people (including non-combatants) during its capture of Nanjing. However, the Chinese people who died in this battle were soldiers killed in action fighting the Japanese, as well as those executed by the Chinese as so-called “Chinese traitors” regarded as being pro-Japanese. Chiang quickly left Nanjing on an airplane, and Tang fled across the Yangtze River on the day before the Japanese attack. He stationed barrier troops at the only exit gate to force his subordinates to fight against the Japanese Army, and also burned all of the army’s 24 inflatable boats to prevent them from escaping.
The left-behind National Revolutionary Army (NRA) soldiers who tried to run away were shot by the waiting barrier troops. Because they were unable to flee, they entered the city and stole clothing, money, and goods from the citizens to become plainclothes soldiers (guerillas). The plainclothes soldiers captured by the Japanese Army were executed, but they did not number tens of thousands of people. Despite this, the Nanjing Memorial Hall contains exaggerated models, dolls, and fabricated photographs of the massacre of Nanjing citizens. It does not display one piece of concrete proof, however. I have actually visited Auschwitz, the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Cambodia, and the memorial in Rwanda. All of these museums exhibit facility photographs, weapons and implements used in the massacres, photographs of dead bodies, and other specific items. However, the Nanjing Memorial Hall lacks any proof of this type. I think Fukuda, as a former prime minister, should not have gone to this museum, since his visit was merely used as a piece of propaganda by the Chinese side.
I constantly state that all people who learn the truth become conservative. After World War II, the chief aim of the American occupation policy was to implant Japanese people with a sense of atonement about the war. This was given concrete form as the War Guilt Information Program. The Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers (GHQ) spread historical information that was advantageous to its goals via the radio program This is the Truth and the nationwide newspaper column “Pacific War History.” It also designated books that did not match the occupation policy and seized them from publishing houses, book shops, government offices, and other locations. It censored the entire media from the newspapers to radio, and even opened and checked the content of private messages between individuals. This resulted in censorship being performed before publication rather than after, and the media built a structure of restricting its own reporting according to the 30-item Press Code. The Japan Teachers Union was also formed to oversee the writing of textbooks to promote the Tokyo Trials historical viewpoint. Japanese people have been brainwashed in this way.
The former prime ministers and other old men tainted by this masochistic view of history speak out against nuclear power and in favor of China, continually taking actions and making statements that damage Japan’s national interests and pride. This cannot be allowed. Japan must regain its true history, revive pride in our native country, and become a truly independent state. If not, a tragic end awaits us as a Chinese autonomous region like Xinjiang. We should amend the constitution as soon as possible, abolish the Three Non-Nuclear Principles, and gain the ability for independent self-defense by concluding a nuclear sharing arrangement with the U.S. to stand off against our neighbors (which are all arming themselves with nuclear weapons). As China is expanding and the U.S. is withdrawing, Japan’s path will determine the future prosperity and peace of East Asia.
